Waste Collection Projects
HORECA PET Bottle Recycling Project
Coca-Cola Azerbaijan, "ASAN Volunteers" Organization and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources joined forces for PET bottle collection initiative in Baku. The project, which is part of Coca-Cola's "World Without Waste" campaign and in line with CCI’s 2030 Sustainability Commitments, entails the segregation and recycling of plastic waste has already reached 200 HORECA locations such as hotels, restaurants, cafes. In the first phase, the scope of the project includes Baku, Absheron, Sumgait, Mingachevir, and Gabala where approximately 45 tons of plastic has been collected and transferred to recycling facilities throughout the course of the operation.
Women Empowerment Projects
Scholarship for Women Engineers Program
To increase the employment rate of female engineers, CCI Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Baku Engineering University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and Azerbaijan Technical University to launch a scholarship program. Beyond the three-month scholarship, candidates who qualify for the program will have the opportunity to undertake a six-month paid internship in CCI Azerbaijan's supply chain department.

Caspian Sea Coastal Area Cleaning
To further improve the ecological condition of the Caspian Sea and raise awareness about the region, the international coastal clean-up campaign 'Protect the Caspian Sea', one of the country's largest environmental activities for over a decade, was held for the first time this year, covering the entire coastline of the Caspian Sea.
Spring Cleaning
Coca-Cola Azerbaijan partnered with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and EcoHub environmental platform for its "Spring cleaning" campaign. Under the slogan "Let's clean up the environment this spring," the campaign spanned over 5 days and included at least 100 volunteers from the general public who worked together to make their communities cleaner and greener at the Daniz Mall.
