Training and development at CCI is based on the 70-20-10 methodology and the main focus areas are leadership development and functional development as well as digital platforms that support self-learning. The focus of leadership development is to develop CCI's leadership anatomy (Leaders of Self, Leaders of Others and Leaders of Leaders) and IMPACT Leadership behaviours.

CCI Women's Network is an employee resource group, first started as Women's Club in CCI Azerbaijan in 2014. It operated with the aim to support an increase in women leaders capability development, creating synergy between women employees and contributing to the company's community projects related to women's empowerment. In 2019, women's clubs in all CCI countries were united under the umbrella of the CCI Women's Network.
