Kazakhstan and Türkiye Strengthen Investment Cooperation: Coca-Cola İçecek to Build a Plant in Aktobe

Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation regarding its new plant in Aktobe at the Kazakhstan–Türkiye Business Forum.

Astana, May 15, 2026 — Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI), part of Türkiye’s Anadolu Group, continues to pursue its long-term growth and sustainable development vision in Central Asia. CCI is preparing to establish its fourth bottling plant in Kazakhstan, one of the region’s strategic markets. In this context, a Memorandum of Cooperation for CCI’s new investment in Aktobe was signed at the Kazakhstan–Türkiye Business Forum. The Forum witnessed the signing of the Memorandum by Veli Dinçel, General Manager of CCI Kazakhstan, and Doszhan Alibekov, Head of the Department of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Aktobe Region.

“For Coca-Cola İçecek, it is a great honor to become part of a new stage in strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Türkiye. The signing of the memorandum in the presence of the heads of both states underscores the importance of this new investment both for our company and for the development of economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries. The new plant in Aktobe will make a significant contribution to the region’s economic development, the creation of new jobs, and the introduction of modern production technologies. We highly value the support of the state and are confident that this project will become another example of a successful long-term partnership,” said Veli Dinçel, General Manager of Coca-Cola İçecek Kazakhstan.

The new plant will become the fourth Coca-Cola İçecek facility in Kazakhstan. Currently, three plants are successfully operating in Almaty Region, Astana, and Shymkent. Construction of the facility is planned to begin in 2026. Production will comply with international environmental standards and will include modern waste management systems.

The project is being implemented with the support of Kazakh Invest, the national investment promotion company that facilitates the implementation of strategic investment initiatives in Kazakhstan.

Earlier, Coca-Cola İçecek Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a framework agreement for the implementation of the project.

Coca-Cola İçecek has been operating in Kazakhstan since 1994 and with the planned Aktobe plant the company’s total investment in the country will amount to nearly KZT 130 billion.
