Coca-Cola İçecek Focuses on Investments and Maintains Quality Growth in the Second Quarter

Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) announces its financial results for the second quarter of the year, reporting mid-single digit growth on a consolidated basis.This performance is driven by a strong focus on profitable volume and the strategic advantage of its diversified portfolio of countries. With new factories inaugurated in Azerbaijan and Iraq, and additional production lines across multiple countries, CCI invested TL 6.8 billion in the first half of the year. Commenting on the results, Coca-Cola İçecek CEO Karim Yahi said:

August 12, 2025, İstanbul – Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI), a subsidiary of Anadolu Group, announces its financial results for the second quarter of 2025. Continuing its investments, CCI follows the volume momentum in the first quarter with more balanced volume growth and value generation in the second quarter.Despite macroeconomic and geopolitical headwinds, CCI maintains its focus on profitable volume and maintains mid-single digit growth on consolidated basis, thanks in part to its diversified portfolio of countries. This performance once again reflects company’s ability to adapt and navigate through volatility across its markets.

“We are making steady progress towards our full-year guidance”
Coca-Cola İçecek achieved a 4.7% y/y increase in consolidated sales volume in the second quarter and a 8.5% rise in the first half of the year. Excluding the impact of inflation accounting adjustments, the company delivered a strong sequential improvement in both gross profit and EBIT margins in the second quarter margins, compared to the same quarter last year. CCI CEO Karim Yahi states, “The results, primarily driven by strong performances in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Iraq, show that we are making steady progress toward our goal of sustainable growth and value generation”.
Yahi adds, “Quarterly fluctuations due to cycling favorable COGS from last year may occur. Yet, we are making steady progress towards our full-year guidance, supported by our increased focus on value and the strength of our diversified portfolio of countries”.

TL 6.8 billion investment in the first half of the year
Supporting the long-term growth potential of its operating markets, CCI continued its investments at full speed in the first half of the year. CCI started production at Azerbaijan, Ismayilli in May and at Iraq, Baghdad in July. Karim Yahi stated, “As part of our investing ahead of demand strategy, we invested TL 6.8 billion in the first half of the year — with 28% of the total capital expenditure was related to to Türkiye operation and 72% was related to international operations. We remain committed to new plant projects and production line investments. These initiatives reflect our confidence in the future and our dedication to meeting the evolving consumer needs across geographies”.

Yahi: “The Fitch rating reaffirms our financial and operational resilience”
In June 2025, Fitch Ratings affirmed CCI’s Long-Term Issuer Default Rating at ‘BBB’, maintaining one of the highest spreads to sovereign ratings globally. Yahi commented, “This confirmation reflects the continued strength and resilience of our financial and operational performance, underpinned by geographic diversification, despite ongoing macroeconomic challenges in our key markets”.
