30.12.2025

Operating in 12 countries with 36 bottling plants and 3 fruit processing facilities, Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) has inaugurated a second production line at its Dushanbe plant in Tajikistan. With this new line, CCI Tajikistan aims to increase its production capacity.

December 26, 2025, Istanbul – As part of Anadolu Group, Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) continues its investments in line with its long-term growth and sustainable development vision in Central Asia and the Caucasus. CCI Tajikistan has launched its second production line at the Dushanbe plant. The inauguration ceremony was attended by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the Chairman of the National Assembly (Majlisi Milli) of the Supreme Assembly (Majlisi Oli) of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir, CCI Chief Operating Officer Ahmet Kürşad Ertin, and CCI Tajikistan General Manager Burak Ateş.

Operating in 12 countries with 36 bottling plants and 10,000 employees, CCI continues its growth in Central Asia under its “invest ahead of demand” principle. With this investment, the plant’s production capacity is expected to increase, further strengthening its contribution to the local economy. The new line will create an additional 50 direct and more than 200 indirect employment opportunities. With the commissioning of the second line, the Dushanbe plant will continue to locally produce a wide range of beverage products.

CCI CEO Karim Yahi commented on the new investment: “Tajikistan is among the countries we focus on as part of our long-term growth vision. This investment will be a tangible demonstration of our commitment to contributing to the local economy and society. With the second production line at our Dushanbe plant, we will achieve a significant increase in our capacity.”

Since starting operations in 2015, CCI Tajikistan has become one of the leading international investors in the country. According to the 2023 Socio-Economic Impact Study, for each Tajik somoni CCI invests in Tajikistan, it creates an additional 3 somoni in the country’s economy.
The company and its value chain contribute 2.6% to the industrial sector’s net output.

Aligned with Tajikistan’s Green Economy Development Strategy for 2023–2037, CCI also runs initiatives focused on environmental sustainability and empowering women and youth. Through the “Hohari Man Women’s Empowerment Project,” the company supports social entrepreneur women across the country. Additionally, under the Youth Empowerment initiative, CCI has partnered with the Tajikistan Football Federation since 2017 to promote youth development through sports.

CCI Tajikistan, supported by a grant from The Coca-Cola Foundation, led the launch of the Water Replenishment Project in April 2024. Implemented in collaboration with the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia’s Tajikistan office, the project rehabilitated irrigation channels in the Hatlon region, restored idle agricultural lands to production, and introduced drip irrigation systems. These efforts significantly improve water resource efficiency and enhance the resilience of regional agriculture.

CCI Tajikistan also stands out for its responsible business practices. The company has been recognized as “Best Taxpayer” by the Tax Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan for its achievements in business development and tax compliance in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
