The experts also highlighted the importance of collective contribution of government, business, and community to country's socio-economic growth by implementing the SDGs.

“We understand that it will be tough to achieve these targets without the solid support of all our stakeholders, mainly the state and community, but we firmly believe that we are not alone on this journey,” said Alima Issembayeva, Director on Government and Public Relations, Sustainable Development of CCI Kazakhstan.

Ms. Issembayeva also noted that CCI has committed itself to achieving the sustainable development goals in the countries where it operates, including Kazakhstan.
