CCI Pakistan provides Covid-19 relief supplies to Lahore district Government 

Lahore (July 16, 2021): Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCI Pakistan) team met with the Commissioner Lahore, Capt. (retd) Muhammad Usman, on July 16, 2021 at his office. With the COVID-19 cases on the rise again, CCI Pakistan provided over 100,000 facemasks for free distribution to the underprivileged segments of the community within Lahore division. In addition, over 500 face shields were also presented for distribution amongst the frontline health workers stationed at the vaccination centers to ensure their safety and protection.  

A rapid increase of Covid-19 cases is being reported by local health authorities in Pakistan, while the World Health Organization (WHO) predicts the delta variant of this virus will soon become the most dominant one around the World, if not already. Local health authorities are also anticipating clear signs of a fourth wave of Covid-19 starting in the country due to ignorance of public. 

While speaking about this safety contribution, Mr. Ahmet Kursad Ertin, General Manager at CCI Pakistan said, “We can defeat Covid-19 through cooperation between all sections of the society. The importance of wearing a mask cannot be emphasized enough to protect everyone from the virus. Through this humble but much needed contribution, we hope that  we are able to keep people and the frontline health care workers safe.”
