CCI and EBRD have launched a joint support program to strengthen the ethical and compliance process in Coca-Cola distributors as they are the most important parts of the corporate management.
As a part of the program, EBRD will provide information and consultancy support to create the ethical and compliance processes in for Coca-Cola distributors within the SME scales. It is aimed to achieve a sustainable corporate structure in the fields that they operate, to become more competitive and to increase their business volumes with this program.
The agreement was signed by Coca-Cola İçecek’s CEO Burak Başarır and EBRD Turkey’s Managing Director Arvid Tuerkner. Speaking at the signing ceremony Burak Başarır said; “In all of the regions we operate, we place transparency, compliance, accountability and ethical values at the heart of our business structure. As a signatory of the United Nations Global Relations Convention, we give importance to improve the ethical and compliance processes of all our stakeholders in our value chain. Accordingly, this program, which we launched in collaboration with EBRD, is critical for our dealers to create a sustainable corporate structure.”
Arvid Tuerkner said, "CCI is the leader both in Turkey and abroad as a corporate firm with the power of making changes in the industry. Therefore, we are pleased to gather our forces to support our dealers in the ethical and compliance processes.” He also stated that this support will help dealers to stay in the CCI value chain, increase business volumes and their competitiveness.
