Ankara Plant Wins KalDer Quality Achievement Reward
CCI Ankara Plant won the “Quality Achievement Reward” in the scope of “2010 National Quality Rewards” awarded by KalDer.
CCI Ankara factory was awarded with “Quality Achievement Reward” that is the fourth stage of “National Quality Rewards” awarded by Turkish Quality Association (KalDer). These rewards were awarded for the 18th time this year. The organization where European Foundation for Quality Managament (EFQM) represented by KalDer awarded quality leaders, was held in Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center on November 10, 2010 in the scope of 19th Quality Congress.
CCI Ankara factory that completed EFQM evaluation process successfully was deemed worthy of this reward with its superior performance in quality management. Quality Achievement Reward, a proof that the company reached excellence and perfection was considered as a result of CCI Ankara Factory’s dedication in excellence, self-evaluation and continuous improvement.
CCI Turkey President Burak Başarır indicated that CCI’s success in its quality journey is rewarded once again. “Quality is our focus point in all of our processes. From supply chain to human resources, sales to marketing, all of our departments try to improve thier service quality continuously.” said Başarır and continued, “Our Bursa plant have won the first excellence reward of Turkish Food Sector. Today we are proud again with the success of our Ankara plant. Our commitment to quality in all our proceseses will continue.”
Competency in Excellence Certificate From KalDer to CCI Headquarters

In addition, CCI Turkey headquarters received the 5 star “Competency in Excellence Certificate” during the same ceremony.
KalDer had been contacted under the supervision of Human Resources Quality Department in 2009 and CCI Turkey had initiated the EFQM process with the participation of all functions and support from the top management. KalDer initiated the external evaluation process in order to determine CCI’s place on the Road to Quality within the scope of EFQM standards. CCI Turkey was assessed in the national category and was deemed worthy of the level of 5 stars in “Competency in Excellence” as a result of the evaluation carried out according to EFQM standards.
