CCI Turkey operation's "Yerim Salıyı" project received 3 awards from the Direct Marketing Communicators Association. A total of 326 projects submitted by many companies in 27 categories competed in the award competition. CCI’s project competed in 3 categories and marked a great success by winning the second prize in the Direct Mailing category and the first prize in Sales Point Interior Promotional Activities and Locally Focused Sales Point Interior Promotional Activities categories.
The project aimed to build a new consumption habit by declaring Tuesdays as restaurant days with Coca-Cola, increase traffic in restaurants on Tuesdays, strengthen Coke & Meal occasion and present “only Coke can do” experiential activities. It was implemented in 187 restaurants between September and December 2017. Accordingly, Tuesday was declared as the restaurant day and consumers were encouraged to eat at restaurants through special offers such as 50% discount in every second menu and special presents. It was supported through advertisements that reached a large audience in cinemas, radio, social media, Yandex application and outdoor panels. The project's successful results exceeded its targets and it is scheduled to restart in June to reach 700 sales points.
